Intermediate Designer Kay Bromley
Kay joined Feldman Architecture in the spring of 2023 as a Designer. An East Bay native, Kay graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, crafting a thesis in which she proposed a city service and factory that designs and manufactures adaptable shelters to house civic resources and infrastructure based on temporary citizen needs. After a formative year living in Washington DC, where she came to appreciate walkable cities, public transit, and good urban design, Kay moved to San Francisco, working at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson primarily on the award-winning Caymus Suisun. In her free time, she loves to sew and design patterns, watercolor, bike, and see shows at the Independent. She’ s passionate about architecture that embraces the outdoors and highlights natural materials.
