Q: Where are you from?
I grew up in China, Chongqing. Not too far from where the pandas live - and my hometown is famous for spicy food!
Q: Where did you go to school?
I studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
Q: Tell me about your family.
My parents live in China, and I live in the South Bay with my husband and two cats.
Q: What is the most interesting aspect of architecture to you?
I’m interested by the harmonious blending of functionality with aesthetics, as well as the creative design process.
Q: What kinds of projects do you most enjoy working on?
I like working on a wide variety of projects. Every project is unique - I like embarking on the discovery journey and problem-solving within it.
Q: What are the top three things on your bucket list?
I’d like to build my own house, travel around the world, and direct a short movie.
Q: What are five features you would include in your dream home?
I would like my home to be cozy with an open floor plan, indoor-outdoor connection, as well as a lot of natural light and plants.
Q: Where are you most excited to travel next??
South America, it’s always been on my list of places to visit.
