Job Captain Maria Bermudez
Maria Bermudez graduated from the Hispano-American University of Costa Rica in 2015, and has been working for more than 8 years in residential, commercial, urban development, and mixed-used projects and typologies in Costa Rica, Washington DC, and California. As an architect, she developed a strong interest in sustainable solutions that promote innovation through natural resources conservation.
Maria worked as a volunteer for the city of Desamparados in Costa Rica, helping on several projects of urban planning and design, including the first urban development manual of the city.
She believes that architecture is the art that allows people to reconnect with society and the landscape. In her free time, Maria enjoys hiking, baking, coloring, and traveling.
