Q: Where are you from?

I'm from Seattle, Washington! Yes, it really does rain as much as people say. And yes, of course I've seen Twilight. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest is something I'm incredibly grateful for. There's something pretty special about being surrounded by mountains, forests, lakes, and the ocean all at once. I think living in such a beautiful place is a big part of why I developed a love for the outdoors. Weekend hikes, spending the summer on the water, and camping in the mountains were all such a normal part of growing up. The PNW has this really unique mix of culture, and I definitely don't take that for granted. And nothing can compare to the first sunny day of the season in Seattle.

Q: Where did you go to school?

I went to school in sunny San Diego where I attended San Diego State University. I pursued a degree in Communications and Digital Media Studies, which is where I found my passion for marketing and storytelling. Amidst the typical course load, I also got the chance to take some very So-Cal coded electives like surfing! (Sadly not much skill stuck with me from that course…)

Q: What is the last show you binge watched?

Survivor—I've been watching this show since I was a kid with my mom. Since there's 50+ seasons, it's hard to keep up, so my roommates and I have made it a fun tradition to binge watch old seasons when we have downtime. We'll even take it as far to make friendly bets with each other on who we think the winner will be, regardless if the season came out 10 years ago or not.

Q: Did you pick up any new hobbies during quarantine?

During quarantine I got really into making jewelry with a few of my friends. I have more beaded necklaces than anyone could ever need now.

Q: What are the top three things on your bucket list?

Top of my bucket list is skiing in Japan, followed by seeing the Northern lights, and hiking the Dolomites.

Q: What are five features you would include in your dream home?

I'd love to have a sauna, cold-plunge, stand-alone bathtub, library, and a garden space.

Q: Favorite SF hidden gem?

Prubechu is the best dinner I've had in SF! Located in the Mission, it's the perfect spot for dinner with friends. They serve Chamorro cuisine, which blends Spanish, Asian and Pacific influences. It's definitely one the best meals I've gotten to try and I cannot wait to go back!

Q: Where are you most excited to travel next?

Sao Paulo, Brazil! I'm heading there in a few months, and I can't wait to see the city.
