Q: Where are you from?
I am from Tehran, Iran.
Q: Where did you go to school?
I attended UT Austin for graduate school and Iran National University (SBU) for undergrad.
Q: Tell me about your family.
My family consists of my wife and two kids, Aiden, who is 7 years old and Liam, who is 4 years old.
Q: What is the most interesting aspect of architecture to you?
I am interested in all aspects of architecture from conceptual design through construction.
Q: What kinds of projects do you most enjoy working on?
Single family residential and hospitality projects.
Q: What are the top three things on your bucket list?
I'd love to go rafting through the Grand Canyon, learn French and practice watercoloring!
Q: Favorite SF hidden gem?
Ocean beach.
Q: What are five features you would include in your dream home?
My dream home features an infinity edge pool, a rose garden, a sauna and cold plunge, an al fresco dining space, and a James Turrell skylight.
Q: Where are you most excited to travel next?
Japan!
