Liza Karimova, LEED GA, joined Feldman Architecture in the summer of 2017, following a summer internship in 2016. Just prior, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley. Liza is passionate about using innovative technologies and integrating material science into architectural design. She conducted research on material science engineering during her time at UC Berkeley, and continues to further immerse herself in the connection between science and architecture.
As citizen of multiple countries and an avid traveler, Liza has had the chance to participate in the curation of different events around the world, such as the 2014 Venice Biennale of Architecture. While Liza currently speaks three different languages, she is continuing to learn new ones in the hopes of enhancing her already substantial appreciation of cultural differences. In her free time Liza paints, hikes, and never misses a chance to cut through the slopes on her snowboard.
