Jonathan Cotté

Jonathan joined Feldman Architecture as a Job Captain in 2022. Originally from France, he grew up traveling around Europe, visiting numerous architectural and historical sites, developing a deep-rooted love for architecture, art, and design.

He started his academic journey by receiving a Baccalaureate in Civil Engineering before transferring to the École des Beaux Arts in Paris, where he studied architecture and arts for two years before moving to the US. After crossing the Atlantic, he attended UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design where he was awarded both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master degree in Architecture.

As a professional, he sharpened his design skills in architectural firms around the Bay Area, specializing in metal and terracotta façade systems, contributing to various large-scale projects, and collaborating with renowned architects from around the world. Acting as a West Coast Engineering Sales Manager for a several years, he worked in between pre-construction and sales, and managed coordination with various AEC industry consultants.

Jonathan is excited when designing meaningful architecture, inspired by high-end craftmanship, site, and materials. He loves to create atmospheres fostering strong emotions. He also enjoys taking part in comprehensive projects and contributing to the developmental process from initial sketches to completed construction. As an engaged team player, he is always looking forward to sharing his past experiences with colleagues and collaborators and bring novelty to the table.

Beyond work, Jonathan is an accomplished Judoka and an avid outdoorsman, always ready for a good time in the wild.
