On Thursday, June 13th Feldman Architecture hosted Bay Area Young Architects (BAYA) for their monthly Firm Presentation and Tour. With beverages and snacks in hand, 30-40 people gathered to get the inside scoop of the firm’s ethos, work, and design process through 5 completed and ongoing projects. As Jonathan moderated the discussion, attendees were lead through the stories of context and particular conditions of each project by their respective project managers.
Thank you BAYA for a wonderful evening of good conversation and architecture.

Dave Feldman, brother of Principal Jonathan Feldman, returned to the Bay Area last week to join the Comcast SportsNet Bay Area team. This is the first time the brothers have resided in the same place since Dave went off to college in 1983! Dave comes to CSN Bay Area to take the lead on 49er broadcasts, as well as helping with Pre- and Post-Game shows for MLB, NBA, and NHL. Dave has worked as a sportscaster all across the country, including stints at ESPN, WTTG-TV (FOX) in Washington, DC, and KTIV-TV (NBC) in Sioux City, Iowa. Dave graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Jonathan is very excited to have his brother around, and the rest of the office is excited to (hopefully) get some great tickets to games. You can find a full bio on Dave at CSN Bay Area’s website.
We just completed our largest and most ambitious project to date and had the treat of attending a festive house-warming party. 150 guests made the trek to Hollister to enjoy a great summer garden party complete with great food, swimming and bocce ball and, of course, exciting architecture! This challenging house was built by the Talented crew at Stoker and Allaire and the amazing landscape design was by Bernard Trainor and Associates. Here are some of my photos of the great afternoon!
